Our Impact: Project Management and Implementation

Between June 2021 and July 2022, we managed the Reproductive Health Bike Patrol Team for the Philippine Society for Responsible Parenthood in Laguna and Rizal. Movement restrictions were still in place, but the need for family planning services had not slowed down. The bike patrol made sure outreach continued. Riders delivered supplies, answered questions, and reached households that might have otherwise been missed. It was a simple approach that proved both practical and effective.

From August to September 2021, we worked with the United Nations Population Fund to implement Business Action for Family Planning in Zamboanga City and Cagayan de Oro. We partnered with Universal Canning and Del Monte Philippines to bring services into the workplace. These were companies with a large workforce and a clear need. By the end of the project, more employees had access to methods, counseling, and the confidence to make informed choices for themselves and their families.

In Central Luzon, between April and September 2018, we supported the Department of Health Region III in the Implementation of the Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Law. This time the focus was community level access. Local health units improved how they delivered services. Frontline workers became more visible. More women came forward to ask for information, and more families took steps toward better reproductive health. The shift was steady and grounded in the everyday work of barangay health teams.

Back in 2016, from March to August, we led the Scale Up of Demand Generation on Reproductive Health among NHTS Poor Families through Family Development Sessions in Quezon City District II, Sarangani, North Cotabato, and Sultan Kudarat. Together with the United Nations Population Fund and the Philippine Society for Responsible Parenthood, we brought family planning into regular community discussions. These sessions created space for honest conversations. They helped raise awareness among women with unmet needs and gave local facilitators the tools to keep those conversations going long after the project ended.

Each of these projects carried a different shape, but the goal remained constant. Make services easier to reach. Strengthen what is already working. Build trust through presence and consistency. At Asia Pacific Management and Research Group, Inc., that is how we approach public health by staying close to the people who use the services and focusing on solutions that last.
